In these roles he has been responsible for the strategic development and execution of business growth strategies, successful integration and management of acquired businesses, creation and implementation of new to market innovative products, provision of client focused business results, design, broking and implementation of alternative risk and captive reinsurance solutions, creation of data management platforms to deliver risk & insurance data and knowledge across global organisations. He has presented key-note addresses at conferences around the world (i.a. Luxembourg Captive Forum, Guernsey Captive Conference, Zurich Captive Forum, Asian Captive Conference), has provided professional captive reinsurance training to corporates, underwriters & brokers, and has published on topics including Asian, European and American Business, Global insurance markets, Captives and alternative risk strategies. Oliver is CEO & Managing Partner at RISCS CWC, an independent multi-award award winning global risk consultancy providing strategic captive and ART consultancy services to captives, corporates and brokers. The current pressing environmental issues facing our world are high up the RISCS CWC agenda and we are actively working with industry groups to help businesses transition to more socially and environmentally acceptable working practices. To support this we have created a new JV company, Lignum Risk Partners to deliver alternative solutions to sustainability pioneers. He also leads Principal Re Limited’s captive and alternative risk transfer team and is a member of the Labuan International Insurance Association's Captive Sub-Committee. Oliver has been recognised as one of the most influential figures in the global captive industry having been a member of the "Captive Power 50" in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
