Joel Worcester is a Partner at Worcester Investments, LLC based in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, North America. I am a co-founder and serve as the managing partner of Worcester Investments (WI), a Kansas City-based investment company with over $500M in multifamily assets under management. Also, In 2017 WI co-founded Hawaiian Bros, a growing Hawaiian food restaurant headquartered in Kansas City and now with over 50 locations in nine states. WI holds a significant ownership stake in Hawaiian Bros, and I serve on its board of directors. I am fortunate to work with exceptional partners and teams at both Worcester Investments and Hawaiian Bros. Due to both companies’ rapid growth trajectories, we continue to uncover new opportunities to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with stakeholders and team members. Two of my brothers and I started Worcester Investments in 2006, after I received my undergraduate degree. We developed an ambitious growth plan and have not looked back since. Together with our partners, we now own and operate over 3,000 multifamily units in Kansas and Missouri. We also own a property management company (Worcester Communities) and a private lending company (Worcester Financial) —subsidiaries to Worcester Investments. Our core purpose in each business is to love our neighbor by investing in assets, developing gritty leaders, and growing communities. I often find myself sitting at a table where leaders contemplate how we can we care for people better. As a leader, coworker, fellow investor, and especially a father, I am often reminded that investing in people is the most important thing I do.
