Dr. Colleen Fogarty Draper PhD, RD is a Co-Founder, CEO / CSO at PhenomX Health SA based in Saint-Sulpice, Vaud, Switzerland, Europe. Women's health and menopause expert, creative dynamic nutrition scientist, researcher and entrepreneur with experience in multiple aspects of personalization, clinical and molecular nutrition research, practice and product development. I create unique nutritional health products, digital technologies and biomarker tests to improve people’s lives. I have the skills to bridge the gap between clinical practice and bench science by validating the science behind the personalized nutrition movement through understanding mechanistic interactions between various -omics technologies and human health. COVID19 has presented us with inter and intra-individual response variability to disease in terms of incidence, symptoms and severity based on age, race, gender, presence of co-morbidities, latitude, sunlight exposure, Vitamin D and more that is yet to be uncovered. Inflammation, immunity and oxidative stress pathways play key roles. Molecular systems biology and nutritional therapeutics have a role in understanding pathway differences to target the best natural and nutritional therapies to prevent onset or reduce symptoms and severity; and augment medical therapies to optimize outcomes. Women have unique nutritional requirements that connect with their hormonal health and have yet to be fully uncovered. I build cutting-edge, molecular nutrition /systems biology research and bio marker testing to help women realize their full health potential. I have a strong interest in connecting gastrointestinal and neurologic dysfunction; a strong polygenic-immunologic-nutrient connection that needs to be elucidated by scientific research; including but not limited to the microbiome. I love to work with national and international research teams to meet the large, multi-dimensional, multi-ethnic, multi-disciplinary, and data set needs in this growing field of scientific “-omics” research. I have completed my PhD connecting nutrition with systems biology technology to diagnose health, while conducting research at Nestle Institute of Health Sciences/Nestlé Research and Leiden University. I finished 1 year (2018-2019) of extensive training in skin physiology and dermatology cosmetic sciences to build non-invasive nutrient biomarker testing and skin nutritionals. I am also trained in entrepreneurship at EPFL, Lausanne (2021-2022). Ultimately, I am translating my experience into personalized diagnostic testing, and unique nutritional product offerings in collaboration with digital and analytical technologies to serve human health needs on a global scale.
