Simone Merlini is a CEO, CTO & co-founder at beSharp based in Pavia, Lombardy, Italy, Europe. Cloud pioneer user since 2007. In 2011 I co-founded beSharp, an Italian AWS Premier Consulting Partner. I’m editor-in-chief and writer for beSharp’s blog Proud2beCloud.com, a publication focused on advanced AWS-based solutions. With a community-first mindset, in 2012 I co-founded the first AWS User Group in Italy and I’m currently the organizer of the AWS User Group Milan. Ph.D. in Computer Science and adjunct professor of Cloud Computing at the University of Pavia. Actively involved in the development of Leapp, an open-source project for managing and securing cloud access in multi-account environments.
