It’s one thing to create opportunities to make some quick cash, but it’s a whole different beast to launch & build a scalable business. Around this time, I’d gotten my first two (4-legged) kids, Gin & Juice. I'd do anything for my dogs and realized that commitment was pretty common among pet owners. This was my starting point. The pet space was a gold mine with a lot of different routes to take. Fast forward to my first pet product. It was an amazing product, but a premium product doesn’t scale in a city filled with broke college kids. I understood that my market existed, just not in my location. I had to find a way to reach my target audience. Here comes my introduction to search. I dove into Google Ads & SEO seeking knowledge everywhere I could - courses, blogs, forums, etc. Countless hours later… ✅ Search engines mastered ✅ Business booming Shortly after, social media blew up. I started a Twitter account & the very next day, NBA star Dwight Howard contacted me on Twitter to make a purchase. I saw the writing on the wall; the digital world was exploding. I could either stay ahead of the curve or get left behind. Then Instagram came out... everything changed. I built numerous 6-figure followings & this grabbed a lot of attention. Not just attention for my numerous businesses, but attention from others seeking help with their marketing. What started as simply helping friends & family quickly turned into the realization that these marketing tactics don’t just work in the pet space. They work for any business offering products or services online. Purebred Marketing was born. The Purebred name is not just my story.
