Nikolai Joukov, PhD is a CEO at modelizeIT Inc based in Stony Brook, New York, United States, North America. Technical leader, inventor, and entrepreneur. For over a decade I am focused on the modeling and analysis of large enterprise IT environments to automate their transformations. The technologies that I invented were used in hundreds of enterprise IT transformation engagements worldwide for large banks, insurance, telecommunication, retail, manufacturing, medical, and energy companies, governments, and universities. An active leader in the Computer Science research community: chaired IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Operating Systems and Application Environments, chaired the Professional Interests Community on Storage at IBM T.J.Watson Research Center, was a member of the Steering Committee of iCatse, was teaching DevOps and other IT transformation technologies at Columbia University and NYU. Five of my research works won the best paper awards including Eurosys - the top European systems research conference. I have published papers in top venues such as OSDI, FAST, and Eurosys. In the past, I worked on operating systems profiling, wrote new in-kernel file systems, and designed the world-fastest accumulator-multiplier microchip.
