Nahom Tsegaye is a Co-Founder at Teraki app based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Africa. My name is Nahom Tsegaye Berhe and I was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Teraki - All Rights Technologies PLC. I am an accomplished social entrepreneur who enjoys solving community problems in digital ways. I specialized in Computer Engineering and Business Management which helped me in founding Teraki, a mobile app that tackles the scarcity of Ethiopian audiobooks and podcasts and the unavailability of a free platform for creators to house audio content. Furthermore, this digital platform for those who are visually impaired helps people with vision loss or low vision by enriching their knowledge and providing information on different subjects through the means of a book that is in the audio format and podcasts. I am responsible for leading and joining forces of software developers, young creators, and authors that provide a free platform for creators to connect people to black stories globally. I believe I am a powerful force in the workplace and use my positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Through my entrepreneurial journey, I earned the Global Volunteer award for my work in Dar Es Saleem Tanzania, and recently won the Global Start-Up Competition 2021 and attended the Intra African Trade Fair 2021 in Durban, South Africa as an exhibitor by representing my startup and my country.
