He earned his Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. As an undergraduate, he studied biomedical engineering and graduated summa cum laude. Following medical school, Dr. Mohammad Almubaslat interned in general surgery at the Tulane University School of Medicine and Charity Hospital. Over the next five years, he remained at Tulane University to complete his residency in neurological surgery, after which he went on to finish a fellowship in complex cranial and vascular neurosurgery at Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine and the Indiana University Health system in Indianapolis in 2011. Dr. Mohammad Almubaslat has received several awards and has been inducted into numerous honor societies. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received the Alpha Lambda Delta Outstanding Senior Award and the Hurricane Katrina Outstanding Medical Service Award in Neurosurgery. He achieved membership in several honor societies, including the Golden Key International Honour Society, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society.
