Mary Manaka is a Founder/Creative Designer at Manaka Collection based in Bali, Indonesia, Asia. My name is Manaka and I am creative designer & founder of Lifestyle Brand, Manaka Collection. I always knew my work would be creative as art has always been a large part of my life. As a child, I would draw all the time & most important, I learnt crafts passed from my grandmother to the matriarch in my family. By the time I was 5years old I could crochet, knit and sew. Little did I know this would play a huge role in my adult life. A few years ago I started creating wearable art & created a small online shop where I sold jewellery later expanding to clothing by popular demand. Over the years and with a lot of hard work, Manaka Collection as a brand grew and started to take form. In 2014, I moved to Bali, Indonesia where I am based now. With my keen eye for design, I was met with several possibilities & opportunities when it came to my art. This opened up a whole new world that I have been exploring ever since. Fast forward a few years, I am on the exciting path of growing my company and realizing its full potential. As well as developing into an experienced fashion design professional, I have also gained practical skills and astute knowledge of my business.
