John Adams III is a CEO Group Chair at Vistage Worldwide, Inc. based in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, North America. I have a passion for helping others achieve their life goals. Being a Chair for 20 years with Vistage, the world’s leading CEO member organization, allows me to do that through Executive Coaching, & facilitating two monthly meetings of Peer Advisory Boards. My ongoing business consulting work, through my Aspen Consulting Inc, which I have been doing since 1978, is focused on making companies more profitable and increasing ROI; insuring the recruiting and hiring of good people; improving communications within the company; and developing a strategic long range plan. My clients have included a wide variety of business interests - from fast foods to oil jobberships, contractors to ice plants, manufacturing to trucking, retail outlets to golf management companies, physicians to hospitals, environmental technology to computer technology. I also was Managing Partner of Copytron Inc, which owned 5 Kinko’s-like print shops in NC & VA in the ‘90s; spent 4 years at EF Hutton as a financial advisor in the mid ‘80s; & started my business life in 1963 in my family’s ABC Petroleum, a Raleigh-based wholesale distributor of Phillips Petroleum products. My 37 years experience leading organizations in diverse industries has been invaluable to my helping CEOs lead their own organizations. I can appreciate every business I step into, understanding each has its own unique opportunities and challenges.
