In 2019, after a ten-month maternity leave, I faced a difficult decision when my retail management position was eliminated. I was given two options: take a demotion with a 50% salary cut or relocate out of state to start over. As a single mother to a ten-month-old, neither option felt right. So, I created a third path and decided to launch Jamie Robarge Photography LLC full-time. I haven't looked back since. Since then, Jamie Robarge Photography has flourished, offering a luxury photography experience that redefines how people perceive portrait sessions. We’re here to show you that getting your portrait taken can be a transformative and enjoyable experience. I used to shudder at the thought of standing in front of a camera to get my picture taken. After my senior portraits, I avoided cameras until I pursued a degree in Fine Art Photography. I graduated in 2015 from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a BFA in Fine Art Photography. It was through my camera lens that I discovered how powerful a comfortable environment can be in capturing genuine moments. I fell in love with the connections I made and the stories I could tell through my work. In 2021, I began collaborating with professional hair and makeup artists who are dedicated to making you feel like your best self.
