I am passionate about levelling the playing field in education and providing young people with the foundations they need to be successful in life. My 13 years of experience in Edtech have equipped me with a skills set suited to growing early stage start-ups, as demonstrated at The Student Room and Unibuddy. I'm now applying this experience to my own business, Life Lessons, which I have co-founded with Nicole Rodden. Life Lessons provides young people with essential life skills and we are starting with Relationships and Sex Education. Schools, FEs and HEs purchase a subscription to our online learning platform that features our unique video content. We film real young people, from diverse backgrounds, sharing their real lived experiences. We have a growing video library and these videos are used as part of a fully planned online/blended learning experience for the classroom or home. Our approach is relatable for young people, which is essential with this subject, young people need to be able to see how consent, mental health, toxic relationships etc. apply to their own lives and situations.
