He also gathers new thinking on the trend through his podcast “Brave New Real Estate,” where he has interviewed other founders, including those behind the UK’s breakout online real estate design success, The Modern House, and others. James also founded the Miami and NY-based community group Brick and Wonder, a forum for sharing grassroots design experiences to promote more sustainable solutions. James started in design in 1990s Manchester and trained at London’s Camberwell School of Design. Today, His passions still include the art of Manchester’s 1990s rave scene, open water swimming, and immersing himself in Spanish language and culture with his American-Venezuelan wife and children.
