Hanna received her law degree (cum laude) from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, in 1997. She was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Thurston Society. While at Hastings, Hanna served as an editor for the Hastings Law Journal and externed for the Honorable William H. Orrick of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She also is the author of To Hire Or Not To Hire, What Silicon Valley Employers Should Know About Hiring Competitors’ Employees, 48 Hastings Law Journal 981 (1997).
