Guan-Lun Liao is a Co-Founder & Co-Managing Partner at AGMI Group based in San Francisco Bay Area, United States, North America. Prior to co-founding AGMI, Guan-Lun worked with venture capital firms in Silicon Valley, New York, and Europe on investments across AI and FinTech and backed early-stage startups as an angel investor. Before he sat on the other side of the table, Guan-Lun was an operator who led business development to scale venture-backed MedTech and Climate Tech startups and spearheaded the launch of innovative products as a product and project manager within leading electronics conglomerates. Guan-Lun also manages assets on behalf of his family office, allocating capital to public markets, private equity, and real estate investments across the United States and Asia. He has built a portfolio of high-growth technology stocks, venture capital funds with distinctive theses and social missions, and residential and commercial properties. Guan-Lun holds an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business, and a M.S. in Quantitative Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Beyond his professional life, he takes pride in being a dog dad, a certified swimming coach & lifeguard, and an amateur chef who once worked as a fry cook in Yellowstone National Park.
