Gregor Cevc is a Founder at YuvenLife GmbH based in Greater Munich Metropolitan Area, Germany, Europe. Gregor Cevc, DipIng, MSci, PhD, holds advanced degrees in biophysics and biochemistry. Born and educated as a physicist in Slovenia, he continued his professional career in Germany, starting at the Max-Planck Institute for Biophysical chemistry in Göttingen and continuing at universities in Essen and Munich. At the Medical Faculty of The Technnical University of Munich, one of the leading German universities, he set-up the Medical Biophysics Laboratory (1988) and served there as Professor (1988-2000) in the same field. As one of the national biotechnology pioneers, he founded (1993) IDEA AG in Munich, Germany, and spear headed its products design and development, including the first independent German biotech product marketing authorisation in Switzerland in 2006. At the helm of IDEA (full-time CEO: 1998- 2010) he was responsible for the Company strategy and funding as well as research and business development (including negotiating and signing the then biggest biotech deal in Germany); he was also co-responsible for product development. More recently, Gregor started further ventures (including the therapeutic development oriented Advanced Treatments Institute network and YuvenLife GmbH) as well as new products / technologies development. Gregor wrote or edited 3 scientific books and over 200 publications (h-idex: 54 / g-index: 131). He was a member of several Editorial Boards, peer-reviewer for over 30 international professional journals, and over half a dozen major research-funding organisations. Gregor moreover co-founded Bio Germany and was an Advisory Board Member of the Tell Aviv University, and a Board Member of the University of Nova Gorica.
