Gabriel Ocana Santero is a CEO and Co-founder at Exin Therapeutics (YC W25) based in South San Francisco, California, United States, North America. I’m the cofounder and CEO of Exin Therapeutics, driven by a passion for turning cutting-edge neuroscience into real-world therapies. My research journey has been a bit of an adventure spanning work on serotonin’s role in brain development during my DPhil at Oxford, computational modeling of neuromodulatory signals with deep learning, and exploring the development of the claustrum. Along the way, I’ve also dived into gene therapy for Friedreich’s Ataxia, worked in muscle injury transcriptomics, and even spent a summer working on pancreatic cancer research during my undergrad. With experience across labs in Sweden, Austria, Spain, England and the US, I’m excited to bring together everything I’ve learned to tackle neurological disorders in new and meaningful ways.
