Dirk Frese, Ph.D. is a VP Sales, Marketing and Service at Julabo USA INC based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States, North America. As a scientist and business leader, I’m interested in discovering what’s possible. I feel fortunate to be able to combine my love for science with my desire to help organizations discover what’s possible. For the past two decades, I’ve guided organizations to unprecedented growth by focusing on people first and numbers second. My experience as a sales and marketing leader in the scientific equipment industry has taught me the value of: ● Leading with both the heart and the mind ● Listening, observing and understanding what’s being communicated ● Taking risks, especially if those risks will help your customers or employees ● Investing in tools and technologies that enhance the human experience ● Supporting everyone in the organization that interacts with your customer, whether its sales, marketing, service, quality management, or accounting I’m also the founder of the non-profit WISDOM (Women in Science Demonstrating Outstanding Merits). I created the organization to support and encourage more female leadership in science. My interest in innovation has also turned me into an early adopter of several technologies. I’m a proud member of the VR/AR Association and frequently share my technology success stories with others through panel discussions, industry conferences, podcasts, and more.
