David McMillin is the CEO of Methodist Rehabilitation Center located in Jackson, Mississippi. McMillin embraces and promotes servant leadership with MRC’s Mission being committed to excellence in the delivery of comprehensive rehabilitation services. MRC is the only hospital in the state that was designed to treat stroke survivors, or individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain or spinal cord injury. MRC has twice been named the only hospital in MIssissippi as one of America’s Best by U.S. News and World Report. MRC has grown to include nine orthotics and prosthetics clinics in Mississippi and one in Louisiana, outpatient clinics in Gluckstadt, Ridgeland, Flowood, and Clinton along with clinics for physical medicine and pain management in Flowood. MRC also has Methodist Speciality Care Center. MSCC is Mississippi’s first residential care facility designed especially for 60 individuals who are completely reliant on others for their activities of daily living, but do not necessarily fit or desire the traditional nursing home setting. MSCC was awarded Best Nursing Home long term care for 2025 by the U.S. News and World Report. Approximately 20% of the Nursing Homes in the U.S, earn this distinction. Prior to this, McMillin enjoyed a 35 year career with the Xerox Corporation , where he served in numerous roles across the United States, including, marketing, sales training, sales management, and financial controls. During his tenure, McMillin received numerous accolades, including being named National Leadership Person of the Year. A native of northeast Mississippi, McMillin grew up in the small town of Walnut. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi while being a member of the varsity football team. McMillin later received his Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College, where he was named Outstanding MBA Student. McMillin has been heavily involved with the greater Jackson-area community. His services includes: Board of Directors of the United Way of Jackson, Mississippi, and Stewpot Ministries; Chairman of the Board of Methodist Rehabilitation Center, Annandale Homeowner Association President, Finance and Stewardship Chairman of Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church. A long time Rotarian, McMillin has chaired The American Heart Association Heart Ball. He was honored by the Goodwill Industries as a Volunteer of the Year.
