Working at NAL Resources for 13.5 years, I had the privilege to manage Financial Planning & Analysis, Production Accounting, Joint Venture Accounting, and was the due diligence lead on over $1B in A&D transactions. As a member of the NAL Executive team in the role of VP Financial & Information Services I added Financial Accounting, Cash Management, IT, Document Management and Procurement to my responsibilities. I ended my time with NAL as VP Technology & Innovation where I was executive sponsor for NAL's Efficiency Strategy and Carbon Footprint Reduction Strategy. During this time NAL produced $36 MM in bottom line efficiency gains and $8.5 MM in exposure to carbon tax by reducing our carbon footprint by 170,000 tonnes annually. As Executive Sponsor for increasing corporate efficiency and reducing carbon emissions at NAL we delivered over 40 initiatives including a Digital Centre of Excellence, Collaborative Office Space, Digital Source-to-Pay, Procurement Category Management, Field Automation Technology, Robotics (RPA), Blockchain, Machine Learning, Emissions Measurement, Zero Emissions Technology, Monetization of Carbon Credits & Carbon Pricing. I am the recipient of the Petroleum Technology Alliance of Canada 2018 Collaborative Innovation Leadership Award (May 2019).
