Derek V. C. is a Assistant Professor of Dermatology at University of Central Florida based in New York, New York, United States, North America. Dr. Derek Chan has numerous years of experience in clinical care, biomedical research, C-level executive management, and consulting. He completed his residency in dermatology in 2015 and has clinical expertise in dermatological oncology, drug development, cellular diagnostics, clinical trials, and immunology. Dr. Chan has been featured in both print and online media for both his medical and cosmetic expertise and opinons, including the New York Times, New York Magazine, Westchester Magazine, Business Insider, Daily Mail (United Kingdom), and other publications. Prior to completion of his dermatology residency, he spent time with management consulting firm McKinsey & Company and started and managed a strategy consulting company based in Boston with an office in Los Angeles and clients from as far as Australia. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Chan is interested in investing in, advising, and building a portfolio of early-stage, high-growth tech, biotech, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics companies.
